i told you i wasn't an expert on knitting... in november i got this book by arne & carlos on how to make knitted christmas balls (julekuler) knitted in traditional norwegian patterns. and the book said it was quite easy and excellent for beginners, and it seemed like one could knit a ball in just an evening. i thought it might take a little longer for me, but after two weeks i gave up cause i thought it was more important to make christmas gifts instead of this stupid ball. but after a couple of months i took it up again and finished my first ball. so now, in february, i have my first christmas ball ready for next christmas!
