at home: oslo / november 2011- february 2012
i told you i wasn't an expert on knitting... in november i got this book by arne & carlos on how to make knitted christmas balls (julekuler) knitted in traditional norwegian patterns. and the book said it was quite easy and excellent for beginners, and it seemed like one could knit a ball in just an evening. i thought it might take a little longer for me, but after two weeks i gave up cause i thought it was more important to make christmas gifts instead of this stupid ball. but after a couple of months i took it up again and finished my first ball. so now, in february, i have my first christmas ball ready for next christmas!

kampen: oslo / november 2011

| i discovered this yesterday close to where i live. it is made by children from kampen art nursery (kampen kunstbarnehage). currently they have an exibition of street art, and this is a part of it. they also have a lace tree on the other side of the wall. i'll try to make a picture of it some other day. both trees are made by old stuff like sweaters, scarfs and tablecloths. keep up the good work, kids :D |

blinderen (and helping a robot): oslo / september 2011

| a friend of mine made this fluffy knit for me... |

| ...so i put it on a tree close to the university where we both studied some time ago. |
 |
| just some metres from that tree i found this little babybot lying on the ground with his wheels spinning. he carried a flag with the message "help me get to the digital circus at the university of oslo" (cause there was the digital idea festival there this day)... |
 |
| so i helped him up so he could go on with his task. as a part of the idea festival little robots were placed in the centre of oslo and moving straight forward were the only thing they could do. so they needed kind people to make them go in the right direction. the one i found managed to go all the way. i found him just 100m away from the university, so we walked the last bit together :) |
