must be this years first butterfly! it was box fresh, sitting in the sun to make the wings dry up for about 5 minutes before flying away. i never saw this kind of butterfly this early, they usually don't come out before june.

i haven't been blogging much lately. nothing at all really....
i should maybe have been better at taking pictures of the gifts i made for christmas, or other things iv'e done. but i didn't. i'll try to behave better...
meanwhile you can take a look at these beautiful birds who were at the cabin in october:

these are photos from this summer when i was in the mountains around loen, we didn't see any wild animals, but a lot of cows!

cows can be pretty scary when you are not used to them, and they are only metres away from you

autumn is here and i miss the summer

a toad

i think i like all animals, this nice toad i actually met at a party. he was living in the garden. i didn't kiss him though, 'cause only a frog will turn out to be prince charming, and a toad would make a little less handsome one...

tadpoles!

i didn't knit these... we had them at work for a months
time in the beginning of the summer, and they were so cute.

we found them in a little pond next to sognsvann lake,
and of course we put them back into the pond
when they had grown legs

an old picture

this kodak moment was made in japan 3 years ago. here i rise up and turn around to flee from an attacking macaque ape. just taken after i was posing sitting down in front of this wild ape in kyoto. but the ape didn't like my pose so he started walking towards me and showing off his teeth. although he looks quite nice on the picture and i look like i'm laughing...

a hedgehog!

look at this cute hedgehog! we met it yesterday in the garden of my mother in law. it has a little house in the shrubbery, and another one under some bricks. i hope it will have a happy life and lots of kids!
