for elvelangs last year i joined some girls making a knitted tree, and this year they made two.
i didn't know they were doing it again this year so i was surprized when i saw these :)

blinderen (and helping a robot): oslo / september 2011

a friend of mine made this fluffy knit for me...

...so i put it on a tree close to the university
where we both studied some time ago.

just some metres from that tree i found this little babybot lying
on the ground with his wheels spinning. he carried a flag with
the message "help me get to the digital circus at the university
of oslo" (cause there was the digital idea festival there
this day)...

so i helped him up so he could go on with his
task. as a part of the idea festival little robots
were placed in the centre of oslo and moving
straight forward were the only thing they
could do. so they needed kind people to make
them go in the right direction. the one i found
managed to go all the way. i found him just
100m away from the university, so we walked
the last bit together :)

tadpoles!

i didn't knit these... we had them at work for a months
time in the beginning of the summer, and they were so cute.

we found them in a little pond next to sognsvann lake,
and of course we put them back into the pond
when they had grown legs

loen / july 2011

a friend of mine did this patch an evening at my place.
i was knitting and she wanted to knitt too,
but she had forgotten her knitting at home.
so she borrowed some yarn and made this for my grafitti project.

i put it on the bridge of a river on the mountain
called 'skåla' in loen, where her father grew up

during my sunday stroll along akerselva
i sure had to pass the knitted tree we made last year.
and it's still there, almost just as fine. the colours are
a bit faded though

i made the green part with the white stripes. i love stripes!
